This was our beginning in horses. We lost Toy at the age of 33 after 20 years of friendship.  She taught 3 generations what it means to have a horse for a friend.  

We love and miss you Toy!

Rio is a 2002 red dun AQHA/IBHA registered gelding. He is 27 months old in the two pictures immediately above (taken Aug 04) and was already 15-3 hands! Under the guidance of Kim and Jeff Barman, Sonja successfully showed Rio at IBHA World and Congress. Rio earned the following titles:

The youth points were put on by Sonja and Pete’s granddaughter, Chelsea Sims ( you go girl!). The other accomplishments were achieved by Rio and Sonja.  Sonja and Rio are currently taking a break from showing so Sonja could concentrate on showing dogs.

FOR SALE - TC’s Buckshot ‘Tex’

2007 33” Stallion AMHR   $400

This is TC’s Buckshot, aka Tex. He is a 2007 33” appaloosa AMHR stallion. Registered black but looks dark bay. He goes back to the Falabella Chanti on both top and bottom and also is a great grandson of Southern Charms Spot Me A Buck.  We haven’t had time to do much with them in the last 7 months or so due to health issues and other interests so have decided to let him go where he will be used. He has been well cared for and priced to sell at $400. His half siblings were shown in Indiana and did well. He is Falabella Blend eligible. He was longed and worked with when he was younger but it has been a while as you can see. He is a bit chubby right now. His legs are nice and straight and solid, good feet.

Hank is very gentle and would be a good family pet, 4-H project, or driving prospect. My granddaughter started him ground driving last summer. Well cared for and friendly. Easy to catch in the pasture.
